Dona Lilita, scribe of the Beatification process of Father Eustáquio, dies.

Mrs. Maria de Lurdes Guerra Daré, known as Dona Lilita, passed away this morning, September 4th. She was responsible for transcribing the texts for the beginning of the Beatification process of Father Eustáquio.

In July 2021, Mrs. Lilita visited the exhibition that was held at the time to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Beatification of the Blessed. On that occasion, she met with the vice-postulator of the Cause, Father Vinícius Maciel, sscc, and spoke a little about the work developed during the process. Maria de Lurdes, a very devoted follower of Father Eustáquio, did not hide her emotion when receiving a special blessing from the vice-postulator.

Dona Lilita typed up the entire Beatification process, working directly with the vice-postulator who initiated the cause, Father Alfredo Elfrink, ss.cc, who led the process until 1974.

To Mrs. Lilita, our affection and gratitude for all that she accomplished and contributed throughout these years. May God comfort and bless her family and friends with much health and peace.
