Next Thursday, June 11, 2020, the church celebrates the Body and Blood of Jesus throughout the world. This year's Corpus Christi celebration will be different because of social isolation; even so, Christians and devotees will not fail to participate in the Solemnity centered on the Eucharist.

Through Padre Eustáquio Channel, On YouTube, the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in Belo Horizonte will host a special program so that we can all express our love and devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist.

On Thursday, the broadcast begins at 10 am with the celebration of Holy Mass, live from the "Health and Peace" Sanctuary. Immediately afterwards, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration, which will also be broadcast live on social media until 3 pm, when it will leave in an open car through the streets of the neighborhood for the blessing.

During the procession, we ask parishioners to remain in their homes, decorate their doors and windows, and express, in some way, their love for the Holy Eucharist. We strongly urge everyone not to follow the sound truck, to avoid any kind of gathering, and to faithfully follow the guidelines of the health authorities.

We want to promote a moment of prayer, closeness to God through this Sacrament, and supplications for all those who suffer and are in pain.
