About 20 people from the Parish of Our Lady of Exile, in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro, visited the Church of Father Eustáquio this weekend. The group arrived on Thursday and, over the past few days, experienced intense moments of prayer and learning about the life of Blessed Father Eustáquio.
The group was welcomed by Father Alexandre Campos Leite, sscc, on the 24th and together they celebrated Holy Mass presided over by Father Silvano Dias at 7 pm, and on Friday, the devotees visited the neighborhood and tourist attractions of the capital of Minas Gerais.
On Saturday, the moment was special. Welcomed by researcher and curator of the Blessed Father Eustace's archive, Leandro Castro, the faithful had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Sanctuary. They began their tour at the Father Eustace Memorial where they learned a little about the Blessed's life. Then they visited the small museum inside the Sanctuary and saw the temple designed by the Dutch priest. In the final part of the tour, the devotees were able to visit the archive and see up close documents, clothing, and objects that belonged to Father Eustace.
On Sunday, after celebrating Holy Mass, the group returned to Rio de Janeiro carrying many graces and blessings of health and peace.
