Devotees celebrate the Enthronement of the Relics of Father Eustáquio in Uberaba-MG

This week, the faithful of the Triângulo Mineiro region were celebrating. Relics sent by the Postulation of the Cause in Rome were enthroned in the Blessed Father Eustáquio Community in Uberaba, Minas Gerais. These include: a piece of clothing that belonged to the religious figure and some of the stones he used in the construction of a grotto in Romaria-MG (the first city where Father Eustáquio worked in Brazil).

The day began with a procession carrying the relics, followed by Holy Mass. The celebration was presided over by Father Saulo, from the São Mateus Parish, also in Uberaba, and concelebrated by Father Geraldo Faria, from the same community.

The objects, which came from Europe, were accompanied by a letter attesting to the authenticity of the relics and explaining the entire journey of the stones. One of the devotees who participated in the entire celebration, Alessandra, emphasized that the moment is very important for the community.
May the relics of Blessed Father Eustace be a further instrument to increase devotion to the religious figure and faith in God. May the community grow even more with wishes for health and peace.
