A devotee of Father Eustáquio, Father Marlon Mucio, celebrates Mass at the Health and Peace Sanctuary.

On August 30th, the feast day commemorating Blessed Father Eustáquio, the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte received thousands of devotees. Among them was Father Marlon Mucio, from the Sede Santos Mission. The priest has a beautiful story of healing and intercession experienced with the Missionary of Health and Peace.

On his social media profile, Fr. Marlon, mss, shared his experience in the capital of Minas Gerais. Read his account:

”"Health and peace." I am still in a state of grace for what I and our Community, Missão Sede Santos, were able to experience last week in Belo Horizonte, at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, together with our beloved Blessed Father Eustáquio.

My deepest gratitude to God, to the priests, brothers, and seminarians of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and of the Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. In particular, my gratitude to Fr. Sérgio, parish priest of the Sacred Hearts Parish, Rector of the Sanctuary and Provincial of the Congregation, to Fr. Vinícius, vice-postulator of the cause of canonization of Fr. Eustáquio, to the religious sisters, to the servants of the Sanctuary, to the people of Belo Horizonte, to Rahime Ferreira, advisor to the Congregation, who took care of every detail so that I could be present.

It was a joy to meet family, friends, and so many people who prayed for my recovery. Blessed Father Eustáquio played a very special part in that!!!! Oh, and so many people, from the capital of Minas Gerais and the surrounding areas, who love the Sede Santos Mission, who carry with them the devotion 'Mary, go ahead!'.

Wow, it was a blessing! So grateful for everything, Belo Horizonte! So grateful, Blessed Father Eustáquio! So grateful, Congregation of the Sacred Hearts (I felt like one of you… the invitation to celebrate the last day of the novena and also at the feast, the welcome, the affection, your generosity touched me deeply!). So grateful, Rhaime!

Now you know from whom I learned my usual greeting, 'Health and peace.' It was from my great friend, Blessed Father Eustace, who has long been very close to me and my ministry, helping and blessing me, and teaching me to be a priest and missionary according to the Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and the people of God.‘
