The Sanctuary of Health and Peace, Church of Blessed Father Eustace, has a new schedule for its Sunday coffee break. The traditional coffee served by pastoral groups raises money to help with social projects and church maintenance.
Before the pandemic, coffee was served every Sunday, each week organized by a different pastoral group or movement within the Sanctuary; however, with social isolation measures in place, this practice had to be stopped.
The church's idea is to revive the tradition of having coffee on Sunday mornings. The schedule is already full until next month, but if you'd like to help in any way, simply put your name down at the Parish Office or bring some items, such as cakes, pies, or savory snacks, to be sold during the coffee break. Another option is to contact a pastoral group or movement and find out what their needs are so you can also participate.
Here's how the schedule looks so far:
May 15th - Family Ministry
May 22 – Vincentians
May 29 – Altar Servers
June 5th – Apostleship of Prayer
June 12 – Catechesis
June 19th –
June 26 – Confirmation
July 3rd –
July 10 – ECC
In addition to generating resources for the church's pastoral activities, the Sunday coffee break is an important space for fellowship between parishioners and visitors.
Pastoral groups interested in joining the coffee break schedule should contact the parish office.
