Last Wednesday, the Church began the Lenten season, the journey towards the Solemnity of Easter. And in the first part of this journey, we are called to go to the desert with Jesus on the 1st Sunday of Lent. For this day, the Episcopal Pastoral Commission for the Liturgy of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) offers the "Celebrate as a Family" guide, with the rite of the Sunday celebration of the Word of God.

“The season of Lent is an invitation to proclaim the Good News, to penance (conversion). The exercises that help in this journey are prayer, fasting, and charity. These prepare the way to God, which is made through our neighbor, through detachment from material goods, since they seek to occupy the place of God. Let us grow together in this pedagogy proposed by our Church and prepare ourselves for a very important moment in our journey of faith: the Easter of Our Lord Jesus Christ,” proposes the Commission for the Liturgy.

At the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, there are three broadcast times for masses via... Padre Eustáquio Channel (Saturday at 5 pm and Sunday at 10 am and 7 pm) which we can attend, but living the dignity of the priestly people that our baptism conferred upon us. We can not only attend, but celebrate the Lord's Day with our families.
