For this Advent season, the Commission for the Liturgy suggests that, if possible, the family prepare a small Advent wreath composed of four candles arranged in a circle of green branches: "Each Sunday, a candle is lit, indicating that we are drawing ever closer to the feast of the Nativity of Jesus Christ, Light of the world.".

And to accompany us during this period, the Episcopal Pastoral Commission for Liturgy of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) offers us the guide "Celebrating as a Family".
