The person responsible for the Canonization process of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Fr. Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc, the administrative manager of the Padre Eustáquio Social Action, Carlos Henrique Ferreira, and the manager of the Padre Eustáquio Store, Denise Dellaretti, are in Espírito Santo participating in the 22nd National Meeting of Senior Citizens.

The delegation is responsible for promoting Blessed Father Eustáquio and for the prayer sessions of the meeting. Yesterday, the 28th, during the opening of the event, Father Vinícius Maciel entered the Sesc Lagoa Formosa Convention Center with an image of the Resurrected Christ. The figure represents the one who conquered death, alluding to the return of activities after a sad period experienced because of the pandemic. Many people were moved, as this is the first event after two years without the "Dedo de Prosa" (a casual conversation session).

At the Social Action booth, set up to promote the work and sell products that help fund the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization, many people are able to learn about the life and history of Father Eustáquio, as well as having the opportunity to find objects related to the Blessed.

On Sunday, Father Vinícius will celebrate the closing mass of the event, which brings together around 800 people in Aracruz, Espírito Santo. All sanitary and social distancing measures are being implemented and respected there to ensure everyone's health is protected.
