On Monday, the day the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts commemorates its founder, Henriqueta Aymer, ss.cc, Brother Gustavo Van Humbeeck professed his perpetual vows.

The ceremony was held in the city of Presidente Franco, Paraguay, with the presence of the Provincial Superior of Brazil and the Paraguay region, Father Sérgio Stein, ss.cc.

Gustavo spent the last months of 2020 in Belo Horizonte, in the house attached to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace. From 2015 to 2019, the young man completed his novitiate in Chile, where he lived with the interprovincial community of professed members, working in the parish of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
