Father Eustáquio carried the Word of God and its teachings throughout his mission in Brazil. Always attentive to what the scriptures said, he lived a righteous life of obedience and love for his neighbor.
Among Father Eustáquio's belongings was found the Bible he used during his mission in Brazil. The book is now located in the Museum of the Blessed, which is inside the Sanctuary of Health and Peace.
Furthermore, love for the Word was found in a passage from one of the texts left by the Blessed One. The work was published in the Bulletin of the Sacred Hearts Parish from 1950 to 1952.
Read the following excerpt:
”"Divine Love overflows and gushes from every page of the Gospel, and it is to be seen and felt how it unfolds in all the figures and parables, exhales from every sentence, bursts forth from every cry and action of God the pilgrim, for love.""If you tell your brothers that, from the first to the last page of this divine book, everything is light and hope, it is, above all, because it is all love."”
