A crucifix that belonged to Blessed Father Eustace is being carried around the homes of devotees in Poá, São Paulo. The item was a gift left by the Blessed Father to one of the city's devotees.

According to the current guardian of the crucifix, Cida Rey, the object was bequeathed to her grandmother, Dona Cesira Passotori Barbieri, who lived with the Dutch priest when he arrived in the city of Poá, São Paulo. Cesira was one of the people who welcomed Father Eustáquio to Poá, thus maintaining a friendship with the Blessed One.

Cida Rey recounts that when the priest was removed from Poá, he distributed several items that belonged to him to people close to him. Cida's grandmother received the crucifix. But beyond the object, he left a mission: the cross could not remain idle; it had to serve the people he once served.

Since then, the cross, which has become a pilgrim cross, goes from house to house, carrying a message of hope to people who are in difficulty, especially those who are experiencing health problems, keeping alive the message of "Health and Peace" left by the Blessed One.
