A Evangelize TV, The Catholic Church, based in Curitiba-PR, will broadcast the opening Mass of the Jubilee commemorating the 80th anniversary of the death of Blessed Father Eustáquio at 7 PM this Tuesday, the 31st. The broadcast is a partnership with the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization, through the Padre Eustáquio Channel.
During the Eucharist, the Sacred Relics of the Blessed will be displayed for the community, and there will also be a blessing for Health and Peace, with the laying on of priestly hands. The ceremony will be presided over by the Vice-Postulator of the Cause of Canonization, Father Vinícius Maciel, sscc, who is also the Rector of the Sanctuary. Leaders from various parish movements and Associations inspired by Father Eustáquio are expected to participate in the Holy Mass. Furthermore, all the faithful and devotees of the Blessed are invited to celebrate together.
The partnership with TV Evangelizar began last year when members of the station broadcast another event in Belo Horizonte. One of the technicians who provides services to Canal Padre Eustáquio was working at the same event and spoke to one of the coordinators of the Paraná-based station about the history of Blessed Father Eustáquio and the feasibility of a national broadcast. Interested in spreading the life and history of the Blessed, the directors in charge spared no effort to ensure that the broadcast was made.
