Approximately 20 staff members from the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Father Eustace, participated last weekend in the 6th Archdiocesan Meeting of Sanctuary Staff. The morning training session was held at the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen, in Confins.
Two special themes marked the 6th Meeting: “The importance of welcoming in sanctuaries” and “how to deal with people who arrive at sanctuaries in a vulnerable state.” The formative moment, held last Saturday at the sanctuary, also known as Tabor of Liberty, in Confins, in the metropolitan region of the capital, included reflections shared by the archbishop and president of the CNBB, Dom Walmor Oliveira de Azevedo.
Employees, volunteers, and rectors of the sanctuaries of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte, along with their teams of collaborators, experienced a moment of sharing, marked by prayer and spirituality.
