Padre Eustáquio School is inaugurated in the capital of Congo, Africa.

The new Padre Eustáquio school was officially inaugurated this month in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in Africa. Although construction is not yet complete, the province decided to welcome the first students to the school.

The project has the financial support of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and the Italian Episcopal Conference and already houses some classes. To complete the construction, one floor of the institution still needs to be finished. See more photos. HERE.

According to the Vatican news website, at the beginning of last year, during a press conference held at the Interdiocesan Center in Kinshasa, the Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Fr. Donatien Nshole, highlighted the difficulties and problems related to free basic education in the country.

The country's new educational unit should help improve the availability of places so that children have access to free primary education.
