Father Eustáquio lived his life and ministry with great humility, always recognizing himself as a man to be molded by God. In one of the texts he left behind, the Blessed speaks about the role of the convent in a man's life.
The text found in notebook 71 of Father Eustáquio's writings offers a beautiful reflection. Read it below:
“The convent is not for the perfect, but for those who want to acquire perfection. To enter, one needs and only needs good will, a sincere and simple desire to become holy. The convent is an environment where we find more effective means to achieve this perfection and to achieve it more easily.”
