The Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Father Eustace, participated in the Regional Tithe Meeting, held in the neighboring parish of Saint Francis of Assisi. Father Silvano de Ávila, SS.CC, and eight other invited parishioners represented the Sanctuary.

The Regional Meeting of the Pastoral Ministry of Tithes was held by the Episcopal Region of Our Lady of Hope (Rense) over the weekend. Approximately 120 faithful were present: coordinators and agents of the Pastoral Ministry of Tithes from various parishes in the region. In an atmosphere of integration and great enthusiasm, everyone worked to renew the bonds of communion after two years without in-person meetings. The willingness to strengthen the commitment to solidarity and to improve pastoral action in the parishes was present throughout the meeting in each and every participant.

The meeting was led by regional coordinators Paulo Guimarães and Marilene Ribeiro, and by Father José Resende, who shared a prayerful moment with deep reflection on Pastoral work and its mission in such challenging times.

Next, the archdiocesan secretary Lailma Feitosa and the archdiocesan coordinator of the Archdiocesan Secretariat of the Tithe (SAD), Renata Senhorinha, reflected on the foundations of the Pastoral of the Tithe and the need to build a parish plan for the Pastoral.

At the end of the meeting, Father Silvano was invited to offer the closing prayer and give his blessing to the event participants.
