Twelve new altar servers were invested this past weekend. The ceremony took place during the celebration of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, last Friday, June 24th. The new altar servers were inducted during the 7 PM Mass, which opened the Sacred Hearts festivities.

The ceremony was presided over by Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, rector of the Sanctuary. The twelve young people, who already have a history in the church, made a commitment to assist the priests, ministers, and brothers in the service of the altar.

On the same day, the members of the Apostleship of Prayer renewed their commitments to the movement, in addition to welcoming another member. All these ceremonies are part of the celebrations of the Patron Saints' Feast, which began on Friday the 24th and will continue until next Sunday, July 3rd.
