Traffic lights around the Sanctuary are personalized with the face of Father Eustáquio.

Two corners of the block where the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Father Eustáquio in Belo Horizonte, is located, have gained new visual identities on their pedestrian traffic lights. The signage now displays the silhouette of Father Eustáquio with the Sacred Hearts.

The project was requested by the Communications team of the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, given the cultural and traditional importance that the figure of the religious man brings to the neighborhood and to the entire city of Belo Horizonte.

Inspired by a project from the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of the capital of Minas Gerais, the National Secretariat, in partnership with BHTrans (Belo Horizonte Transport and Traffic Company), printed the silhouette that outlines the face of Father Eustáquio on the pedestrian traffic lights at the intersections of Rua Padre Eustáquio with Rua Cesário Alvim and Rua Castigliano.

The signage has been attracting attention, prompting people to take photos and comment on social media. The idea is for the place to become increasingly recognized as a religious tourism destination in the state, welcoming devotees and tourists from all over the country and even from outside Brazil.
