The recording is being made by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc., and is based on the novena to Saint Damien made by Father Vinícius himself. The broadcast will begin next Sunday, May 1st.

Saint Damien of Molokai

Saint Damien was a Belgian missionary priest who belonged to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts. He dedicated his life to the lepers of Molokai, Hawaii. Damien is the spiritual patron of lepers and marginalized people, including those with AIDS.
