The Cause for the Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio made a donation to the Museum dedicated to the Blessed in Poá, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The item is a cassock that belonged to the religious of the Sacred Hearts. The delivery was made by the Vice-Postulator of the cause, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, and by the researcher from the National Secretariat, Leandro Castro.
The cassock bears the marks of time and the work that Father Eustáquio carried out during his life. Years of dedication to others, especially the sick and suffering. On the garment, it is possible to observe girdles and patches made many years ago. The white cassock also shows stains and signs of the times when it was worn by the Blessed.
The donation was delivered to the Museum's coordinators, Delcimar Ferreira and Luciana Freire, and is a recognition from the National Secretariat for the Cause of Canonization of the Blessed, for the beautiful work developed since 2014 by the volunteer group "Friends of the Padre Eustáquio Museum".
The Cassock

This cassock belonging to Blessed Father Eustace was recovered and cataloged by the team working on the Blessed's belongings. According to researcher Leandro Castro, the certification that the cassock truly belonged to the Blessed is due to the Blessed's identification number, found on the inside of the garment. The Dutch priest was identified within the Congregation by the number 79.
