Devotees of Father Eustáquio who live in Belo Horizonte visited the city of Poá/SP this weekend. The idea was to delve a little deeper into the history of the Blessed Father. The group was received by the museum coordinators, Delcimar Ferreira and Luciana Freire, and volunteers who help maintain the site.

Approximately 30 visitors participated in the tour, which was organized by the Vice-Postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC. The devotees visited the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, the grotto built by Father Eustáquio, and the Museum.

In the historical space, the faithful heard a bit about the history of the Blessed One and his time in Poá/SP. Delcimar Ferreira showed old photos as well as utensils and clothing that belonged to the Blessed One. Devotees were able to ask questions about the life of the Blessed One with the museum coordinator and with Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc.

The meeting concluded with a gathering organized by the museum staff to welcome the devotees of Father Eustáquio. At the end of the meeting, Delcimar, Luciana, and the staff asked Father Vinícius to bless some bottles of water bottled in the city, so that each devotee could take them back to Belo Horizonte. In addition, everyone received a medal of Father Eustáquio.
