With the goal of increasing vaccine availability in Belo Horizonte, the Municipal Health Department, in partnership with the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, will be offering another opportunity for people to get vaccinated throughout this week. Professionals from the Padre Eustáquio Health Center will be providing temporary services at the Molokai Space, attached to the Padre Eustáquio Church.
Approximately six professionals, including nurses and health workers, will be working until next Friday, April 1st, in the church courtyard. The service, which began last Monday, is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The idea is to draw attention to the importance of getting vaccinated and to increase vaccination coverage in the capital of Minas Gerais. Many people have been neglecting the second dose or booster dose, but it is important that they get immunized so that the transmission of the virus decreases even further among people.
Immunization is open to all ages from 5 years old. Children must be accompanied by their parents (otherwise they must carry written authorization). Anyone wishing to update their vaccination card must bring it and also show an identity document.
For more information, contact the healthcare professionals at the Padre Eustáquio Center by phone: (31) 3277-8479. The service hours there are from 7 AM to 6 PM.
