Discover the history of the grotto built by Father Eustáquio, inspired by Lourdes, France.

In 1935, Father Eustáquio, on a vacation trip to Holland, took the opportunity to visit Lourdes, France, and brought back some holy water from the grotto he visited. Upon arriving in Poá, he built a grotto in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes and made holy water available, using some of the water he himself had brought from France during his pilgrimage.
From then on, reports began to emerge of graces obtained through the intercession of Father Eustáquio.

The Dutch priest was parish priest in Poá from 1935 to 1941 at the Nossa Senhora de Lourdes parish.
