This past weekend, devotees, parishioners, and visitors to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte participated in the Lenten Retreat in person. The time of reflection and prayer took place at the Padre Eustáquio Memorial, adjacent to the church.

The prayer session began immediately after the Mass for the Solemnity of Saint Joseph. Organized by the brothers of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and led by Brother Wanderson Souza, sscc, the retreat led participants to powerful moments of reflection based on biblical passages. To aid in these moments of introspection, Rosângela Aparecida played music appropriate to this time, favorable for conversion.

The meeting ended around 11 am under the grateful gaze of those who participated. Parishioners and visitors who were present spoke of the importance of moments like this and said they hope for a similar retreat to be held during Lent next year.
