Padre Eustáquio daycare centers resume classes in Belo Horizonte with children up to 4 years old.

The Padre Eustáquio Daycare Centers, run by the Padre Eustáquio Social Action organization, reopened today, February 3rd, for classroom instruction. The institutions are now accepting children aged 0 to 4 years. Children aged 5 will have to wait a little longer.

Approximately 350 children were welcomed to the two daycare centers named after the Blessed Father Eustáquio, which are maintained through donations and partnerships with the Padre Eustáquio Social Action. Following all health protocols, the daycare staff were excited and happy to see the children again after the holiday period.

Classes for the second period (with 5-year-old children) were also scheduled to begin today; however, following a decision by Mayor Alexandre Kalil, the return to classes for these groups had to be postponed in Belo Horizonte. The schools were already in the final stages of preparation when they received the news, and therefore are already prepared to receive the children, respecting all currently required protocols.

Today, Ação Social maintains two daycare centers, one in the Padre Eustáquio neighborhood and the other in the Coqueiros neighborhood. Both are located in Belo Horizonte, serving a total of more than 420 children. The centers, which receive support from the city government, are also maintained through donations that help with the children's personal and educational needs.
