The Blessed Father Eustáquio Church is inaugurated in Patos de Minas-MG.

Last weekend was a time of celebration in the Jardim Quebec neighborhood of Patos de Minas. In addition to celebrating Christmas, the community also inaugurated the region's new church. The Blessed Father Eustace Church opened on December 25th with its first Eucharistic Celebration and lunch for the community's children.

The very next day, Bishop Cláudio Nori Sturm of the Diocese of Patos de Minas, Father Marcus Vinícius Maciel, vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Father Eustáquio, and Father Márlon Cunha, responsible for the construction, inaugurated and blessed the church. Construction began in 2018, and the new church of the Padre Eustáquio Community of the São Vicente de Paulo Parish (Diocese of Patos de Minas) was built with the help and donations of parishioners and residents of the region.
