Next Sunday, the 31st, the "São Vicente Run and Walk" will take place, a sporting event that will donate all the money raised to the completion of the works of the Beato Padre Eustáquio church, in the Jardim Quebec neighborhood, in Patos de Minas-MG.

Those interested can still register to participate in the event. The meeting point will be on Avenida Deputado Binga, in front of the Nossa Senhora de Fátima church, at 7:00 AM, and the race is scheduled to start at 8:00 AM. There will be 5km, 8km, and 16km courses, with the latter being on a dirt road.

Registration costs R$60 for runners and R$30 for walkers, and can be done directly on the event website. CLICK HERE. The athlete will receive a kit containing a t-shirt, race number, medal, and drawstring bag.

The categories will be divided by age and the first place winners will receive trophies and prizes. All proceeds will go towards the completion of the Blessed Father Eustace Church in the Quebec neighborhood. For more information, contact the event organizers at (34) 99957-6400.

With construction beginning in 2018, the new church of the Padre Eustáquio Community of the São Vicente de Paulo Parish (Diocese of Patos de Minas) is being built with donations from parishioners and residents of the region. The church will have a capacity to accommodate up to 100 people and will include, in addition to the sacristy, catechism rooms and sanitary facilities.

The idea is to inaugurate the site with the Christmas Mass, celebrated on the morning of December 25th, and complete the festivities with a gathering for children in the street in front of the church.
