Starting on October 28th at Sesc Praia Formosa in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, the 22nd National Meeting of Senior Citizens (Dedo de Prosa da Melhor Idade) will feature various musical and recreational activities, as well as moments of religious reflection.

With the theme "I see flowers in you," the gathering aims to bring together seniors from various parts of the country. After almost two years without a major event, the "Dedo de Prosa" gathering returns in full force. It will be a four-day, comprehensive event, featuring a talent festival, workshops, activities, shows, themed dances, a mass, beach time, sun, sea, and moments of connection with wonderful people from all over the country.

The Sesc Tourism Center in Praia Formosa is located a few meters from the beach and about 50km from Vitória Airport. It is close to indigenous villages, offering the opportunity to experience the culture of the region's indigenous people firsthand.

Among the confirmed attendees are artists such as the duo Caju e Castanha, Renato e seus Blue Caps, and Byafra. The closing Mass of the event will be presided over by Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc., responsible for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio in Brazil. The celebration is scheduled for Sunday the 31st, at 3 pm.

The "Encontro Dedo de Prosa" (Encounter of a Little Chat) originated from the "Programa Dedo de Prosa" (Program of the Little Chat), which is the first Brazilian television program aimed at senior citizens. Hosted by Juarez Elisiário, it is an excellent entertainment option and a space for discussions about active aging in the population.
