Thirty-three seminarians from the Diocese of Patos de Minas, in Alto Paranaíba, Minas Gerais, were on retreat last weekend. They received Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc, at the Dom José André Coimbra Major Seminary for three days of reflection.
The retreat began on Friday, September 24th, and lasted until Sunday. During the meeting, the young seminarians of the diocese learned, among other topics, a little more about the life of Blessed Father Eustace, a model priest and Christian who served in that Diocese with very fruitful work in the cities of Patrocínio and Ibiá.

The moment was very significant, since devotion to Father Eustáquio is lived by many families in the Triângulo Mineiro region. Therefore, some of the seminarians identified with this devotion and were able to learn more about its origins, which they had learned from their parents and grandparents.
The closing Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Vinícius. The representative of the Cause of Canonization in Brazil and rector of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace (BH), highlighted the importance of examples like Father Eustáquio, a zealous pastor who lived his total dedication among the people.
