Book from the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte includes a chapter about Father Eustáquio.

In commemoration of the centenary of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte, which was celebrated in February of this year, a collection of publications was conceived that presents the entire history of the Archdiocese, highlighting a look at the past, the present, and expectations for the future in the municipality. The series consists of ten books, released annually; the first was published in 2013.

Issue number 5, released this year, focuses on consecrated life. The volume is divided into two parts. This one provides an overview of the history of consecrated persons and the first congregations founded in Belo Horizonte. It presents the 50 male congregations in the city. The second part focuses on the female congregations, of which there are more than 100 in the capital of Minas Gerais, ranging from those that were present in the past to those that are currently established.

In the book, published this year, one of the chapters was dedicated to the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts. The passage was written by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustace, Father Vinícius Maciel, ss.cc.

In this chapter, it is possible to learn about the origin of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, its arrival in Brazil, and the founding of the parish in Belo Horizonte by Father Eustáquio. For devotees of the Blessed, the book also includes a passage narrating the beatification of the Dutch priest during the 12th Torcida de Deus (God's Supporters' Festival), celebrated in 2006.
