Students at the Padre Eustáquio Daycare Center began receiving activities this month to complete at home. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the school had already been sending videos created by the teachers with stories, playful and educational exercises, but now the activities are also being delivered in person, intensifying the students' exercise schedule.
The materials are delivered by the teachers of each class directly to the parents and students. In addition to what is delivered in person, other activities continue to be developed and sent via the internet. The school has created WhatsApp groups for each class and sends the exercises daily.
The idea is to reduce the distance between students and the school, as well as to keep children learning throughout the period of social isolation.
The daycare center is maintained by the Vice-Postulation of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, and serves approximately 260 children from preschool to the second period. Under normal conditions, the institution operates full-time and helps several families who need to leave their children to work.
