If you have the Stations of the Cross with reflections by Blessed Father Eustace at home, you must have noticed the beautiful drawing he made of the face of Jesus Christ on the back cover of the publication.

The artwork dates from 1943. At the time, Father Eustáquio did not have the Veil of Veronica to give his reflections on Good Friday. Therefore, one night, he locked himself in his room, took his own pillowcase, and painted the Holy Face of Jesus.

After that Holy Week, Father Eustáquio gave the painting to the Orsini family, who later donated the work to the Health and Peace Sanctuary to be venerated.

The painting is being kept alongside other objects belonging to Father Eustáquio, awaiting cataloging before being displayed in the future museum dedicated to the Blessed.
