Between January 18th and 22nd, the 11th Provincial Chapter of the Province of Brazil / Region of Paraguay was held at the spiritual center in Pindaminhangaba, São Paulo. A total of 17 brothers participated.

The chapter was led by Fr. Evaldo Xavier Gomes, O.Carm., and overseen by the General Governor, Fr. Alberto Toutin, ss.cc. Among the topics discussed were: strengthening the path of integration between the province of Brazil and the region of Paraguay; initial formation (fourth stage); the provincial economy; the care of older brothers; protocols for the prevention of sexual abuse; and a roadmap for preparing a restructuring plan for the works in view of the mission.

The new provincial government was also elected, and it is as follows:

At the end of the meeting, Father Sérgio Stein, ss.cc, and his administration were thanked for the services rendered in recent years. Special thanks were also given to Marisa, Ademir, and Daniel, who took care of the reception and care at the house in Pindamonhangaba.

At the closing Mass, the new provincial sent the chapter participants to continue the mission, under the maternal protection of Our Lady of Aparecida and the intercession of Blessed Father Eustace.
