Christmas Novena
The novena arose with the objective of evangelizing and raising awareness in the community about the importance of the Christmas celebration, through prayer, reading and meditating on the Word of God, with a spirit of sharing and solidarity.
This moment should be shared by everyone, from children to the elderly. Beginning at least nine days before Christmas, the novena should be filled with hearts overflowing with love and solidarity. This is a pastoral expression that helps the church maintain a focus on the incarnation of Jesus, bringing this mystery into people's daily lives.
Even in the face of social isolation, we must prepare for the arrival of Jesus with our families, praying the Christmas Novena and preparing our hearts to receive the Lord.
