Why do we need a password to attend Mass?

Since the return of in-person Masses was permitted, churches have had to undergo some adjustments to accommodate worshippers. Among these changes was a reduction in the number of people allowed to attend services. In response, they began distributing numbered tickets.

The need for passwords has generated some questions, so we'll clarify how the whole process works.

Following health protocols and regulations, the Health and Peace Sanctuary can only receive 160 people per service. This is to respect the necessary distancing of two meters between each worshipper.
To allow anyone to participate in the celebrations, tickets are distributed at the church office, or digitally through [website/platform name]. Sympla.

To allow as many people as possible to participate in the celebrations, four masses are held each weekend: one on Saturday at 6 pm and three on Sunday at 7:30 am, 10 am, and 6 pm.
In addition, two more celebrations are offered during the week, on Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm.

Those with a temperature of 37.8°C or higher will not be allowed to participate in the celebrations.

Other requirements

At the church entrance, everyone's temperature is checked. Additionally, it is necessary to walk across a sanitizing mat and sanitize hands with hand sanitizer. Everyone must wear masks covering their mouth and nose and seek out seats marked with a green light.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in the cancellation of in-person celebrations.
