The newest priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, Father Armín Pérez, ss.cc., presided over his first Mass this Thursday (October 15). Held at the "Health and Peace" Sanctuary, the church of Father Eustáquio, the celebration also marked his and his brother Gustavo's farewell from the capital of Minas Gerais.
Before the celebration began, the brothers of the Congregation paid a brief tribute to the new priest, with photos and music, as everything was broadcast on the Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube. At the Sanctuary, parishioners and visitors who obtained tickets were able to participate in the celebration in person.
This Friday (the 16th), Father Armín and Brother Gustavo are leaving for a new mission in Paraguay. The two will go to a parish of the Congregation located on the border of three Latin American countries: Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
