Celebration of Blessed Father Eustace online

In 2020 we will have a different celebration, but with the same enthusiasm, faith and devotion. “Health and Peace” demands care and distancing, therefore, the 77th Feast of Blessed Father Eustáquio will take place only online. This Friday, the 21st, the Novena to the Blessed begins, with the celebration of Holy Mass at 7 pm on the Padre Eustáquio YouTube Channel. Check out the full text of the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization with the program for this year's feast:

“"Dear brothers and sisters.".
Parishioners, friends, and all devotees of Blessed Father Eustace.

The joy of celebrating August 30th unites and brings us together each year, despite its unique circumstances.
2020 will always be remembered as a very special year, and that is how we will keep the flame of faith and love alive and burning.
"Always through the Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube, we will hold the Novena and Celebrations on the 30th. Starting August 21st, the masses and novenas during the week will be at 7 PM. On Saturday at 6 PM and on Sunday, including August 30th, we will have the 6 PM mass, presided over by Bishop Walmor and broadcast on TV Horizonte (in addition to the Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube). On the 29th, starting at 2 PM, we will hold a procession carrying the image of the Missionary of Health and Peace through the streets of the neighborhood, following the route that we will announce on social media. We will celebrate a beautiful feast united from our homes in a great family of brothers and sisters, missionary disciples, followers of Jesus Christ, inspired by the witness of Blessed Father Eustáquio. With Mary, Our Lady of the Abbey, let us enthusiastically prepare the celebrations of this August 30th, 2020. With hope and confidence, let us unite our prayer for his Canonization. Health and Peace."”

With affection and fond memories, Father Vinicius Maciel, ss.cc.
