The Padre Eustáquio Museum in Poá, São Paulo, organizes guided tours.

From now on, at least once a month, the Padre Eustáquio Museum in Poá-SP will be open to visitors who want to learn more about the history of the blessed man, who was the first vicar of the city, the place where the first reports of miracles date back to the 1930s.

The "Open Museum" project, created by the Friends of the Padre Eustáquio Museum group, aims to establish guided tours for tourists and students who wish to explore the museum's collection, located in the Nossa Senhora de Lourdes Parish. Since the site does not yet have the infrastructure to remain open throughout the week, the museum opens its doors to the public once a month.

Those interested will learn in detail the history of the main church, whose chapel, which gave rise to the current temple, celebrated its 100th anniversary in November. They will also visit the replica of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, conceived by Father Eustáquio, and finally, the museum, with a collection of photos, images, liturgical objects, and reports that tell the story of the Blessed and, through it, part of the history of Poá.

Interested groups and schools can also schedule a visit. Volunteers will attend according to availability and demand. The Padre Eustáquio Museum is located at Rua Vinte e Seis de Março, 49, in the center of Poá-SP. More information: (11) 4638-2205 / 99165-8409 or by email: museupadreeustaquiopoa@gmail.com
