This week (July 14-17), Casa Dom Luciano hosted approximately 70 postulators of saints' causes from all over Brazil. The event, promoted by the CNBB (National Conference of Brazilian Bishops), was a space for sharing, formation, and communion among those dedicated to the mission of investigating and promoting canonization processes in the Church.
Among the participants, we highlight the presence of Father Vinícius Maciel, sscc, vice-postulator of the cause for the canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, and Father João Lucas, sscc, who is participating motivated by the possible process of Father Máximo Sada, sscc, who was murdered during a blessing in a house in Rio de Janeiro.
Among the speakers, we highlight Monsignor Antônio Manuel Saldanha e Albuquerque, secretary of the Studium of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints in the Vatican. Holiness is the fruit of divine grace, faithfully received and lived in daily life. May this meeting further strengthen the paths to recognizing the holy lives of so many men and women of faith in our country.
