A moment of grace and emotion marked the Blessed Father Eustace Community in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil!
Last Sunday, June 1st, during the mass presided over by Dom Paulo Mendes Peixoto, Archbishop of Uberaba, and concelebrated by several priests, including Father Geraldo Magela de Faria, responsible for the community, the enthronement of the 1st degree relic of Blessed Father Eustáquio took place — a fragment of his bone, now spiritually present in the Church.
The relic was carried to the altar by a very special devotee: baptized by Father Eustáquio himself in Ibiá (also in the Triângulo Mineiro region), in 1942. A gesture that connects us even more to the living history of this man of God.
The celebration marked the 10th anniversary of the community, located in the Jardim Marajó 2 neighborhood. See some photos. HERE.
