The vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Father Vinicius Maciel, SS.CC., is in Rome, Italy, participating in the 40th General Chapter of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts. During the meeting, the priest was invited to speak about the Congregation's Commission for the Historical and Spiritual Heritage.

Father Vinicius explained that, in Brazil, the vice-postulation of the Cause of Father Eustáquio continues to collect documents, objects, and all materials that express something related to the Blessed. The priest also explained that great care is taken to preserve and maintain all the material so that new generations can access and better study the missionary work carried out by the Brothers of the Sacred Hearts.
