This week, approximately 60 devotees of Blessed Father Eustáquio, from the city of São Gotardo in the Alto Paranaíba region of Minas Gerais, made a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte. The excursion was led by Father Fernando Antônio Coelho, from the Nossa Senhora Aparecida parish in São Gotardo.
The devotees sought to deepen their knowledge of the life and work of Blessed Father Eustáquio. During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore the Memorial where the Blessed's remains are kept, as well as the Sanctuary dedicated to him in the capital of Minas Gerais.
The group was welcomed by the vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, and researcher Leandro Castro. Both provided the visitors with an enriching experience, sharing historical and spiritual details about the Blessed.
As a gesture of gratitude and remembrance, the visitors received third-degree relics of Father Eustace.
