Presided over by Dom Andherson Franklin Lustoza de Souza, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Vitória-ES, the celebration at the São José Parish in Guarapari will be attended by fellow members of the congregation and friends, as well as the deacon's family.
The Holy Mass with the laying on of hands by Bishop Andherson and the consecratory prayer will take place in the community's sports court and will be broadcast live on the Padre Eustáquio Channel on YouTube.
Deacon Vanildo Lima Sena, SSCC
Vanildo Lima Sena, SS.CC. was born in the city of Anchieta-ES, on December 12, 1992. Son of Valdemir José Sena and Marilza Machado Lima Sena, he entered the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in 2016. He completed his novitiate in 2019 in Chaclacayo and professed his first vows on January 25, 2020, in the Chapel of Casa Anchieta in Boraceia-SP.
He completed his Theology studies in 2020 at the Jesuit Faculty. In 2021, he completed his pastoral year at the Sacred Hearts Community in Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. In 2022, he began residing in the religious community of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte, where he served pastorally until November 2023. He professed his Perpetual Vows on July 27, 2023, at the São José Operário Chapel in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo.
On November 10, 2023, he was ordained a Deacon by Bishop Aloísio Pena Vitral at the Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. From that date, he began his mission in Pedra Azul, in the Jequitinhonha Valley, a role he continues to this day.
