The vice-postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio, Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, presided over one of the masses in preparation for the reception of the relics of Saint Thérèse, at the Carmelite Monastery of Our Lady of Aparecida, in the Caiçara neighborhood of Belo Horizonte.

Cloistered Carmelite nuns participate in Holy Mass with the vice-postulator.
The Eucharistic Celebration was attended by the sisters, who live in cloistered life, and also by faithful who normally participate in masses in the convent chapel. During his homily, the vice-postulator spoke about holiness and cited the example of Saint Thérèse, inherited from her parents and also passed on to her sisters, also speaking about common points between the saint and Blessed Father Eustace.
This Wednesday, June 19th, the relics arrive at the Carmelite convent and will be on display for veneration all day. At 7 PM there will be a Holy Mass in the convent chapel, which will be open to the entire community.
The relics arrived in the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte on the 13th and will remain there until tomorrow, June 20th, when they will depart for Divinópolis, in the central-west region of Minas Gerais. The relics of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus are visiting all the Carmelite convents in Brazil in a pilgrim urn. During her life, the Saint prayed for seminarians and priests, being considered the Spiritual Mother of many priests and a promoter of vocations.
