Padre Eustáquio Shelter and Recovery Home celebrates 3 years of tributes in Araguari-MG.

The Padre Eustáquio Shelter and Recovery Home, located in Araguari, in the Triângulo Mineiro region, is about to celebrate three years of the Patrons' Gallery. This space is a tribute to Blessed Father Eustáquio and to a key figure in the institution's history: Eustáquio Teixeira de Faria, affectionately known as Taquim, who inspired the creation of the home.

Inaugurated on August 30, 2021, a date that coincides with the feast day of Blessed Father Eustace and also Taquim's birthday, the Patrons' Gallery is a moving tribute to the two central figures who shaped the essence and purpose of the Padre Eustace Rest and Health Home.

A Story of Love and Dedication to Family

The story of the Padre Eustáquio Shelter and Recovery Home began with an emergency. Taquim, after undergoing heart surgery and suffering a stroke, needed special care. Faced with this challenge, the family faced a difficult choice: adapt their home environment to meet Taquim's needs or seek a senior living facility.

Initially, they opted to keep Eustáquio at home, providing a nursing structure under the care of his son-in-law, Luciano.

Over time, the demand for a space dedicated to the comprehensive care of the elderly became evident. It was then that Luciano decided to create his own institution, not only to meet his father-in-law's needs, but to offer others the same quality of care and attention. Thus, the institution was born. Padre Eustáquio Nursing Home and Healthcare Center“, a place that reflects the values and family love that shaped its upbringing.

A Tribute to a Life's Journey

The Gallery of Patrons is more than a collection of portraits; it is a testament to the life journey and positive influence of each honoree. Taquim, with his contagious joy, became the face of the institution, representing not only his own battle for health, but also the importance of caring for and honoring those who have already traveled long paths. Blessed Father Eustáquio is the great intercessor of the house, to whom everyone turns in the most challenging moments.
