The bust of Father Eustáquio, which for 30 years stood in the square of the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, near the Father Eustáquio Memorial, will undergo a revitalization process before being relocated to a new and more prominent place at the entrance of the Sanctuary. The responsibility for the restoration lies with the workshop of Mr. Mateo (now deceased). He was the one who made the bust.

Ms. Natalia, Mateo's wife, admires the artwork that is already in her son's studio.
The monument, which holds enormous historical and sentimental value for the community, was originally sculpted by Mr. Mateo, and is now being carefully restored by his son, Nilo, who is continuing his father's work.
The revitalization of the bust of Father Eustáquio seeks to preserve its original beauty and enhance all the details that make it a unique work of art. The process includes meticulous cleaning, necessary repairs, and the application of specific techniques to ensure its durability and proper maintenance.
The new location of the bust, at the entrance to the Sanctuary, aims to honor and highlight the importance of Father Eustáquio in the history and devotion of the faithful.
