The 25th edition of the National "Dedo de Prosa da Melhor Idade" Meeting began this Monday, May 8th, and brings together more than 1,200 senior citizens from all over the country. The meeting is being held in Olímpia, São Paulo, and will continue until this Thursday.

This is the first time the event is being held at Thermas dos Laranjais, in the interior of São Paulo. During the four days of the event, participants engage in therapeutic walks, activities, recreation, and workshops. Yesterday, the seniors participated in the traditional Senior Talent Festival.

The event also includes moments of spirituality led by Father Vinícius Maciel, SSCC, rector of the Archdiocesan Sanctuary of Health and Peace, and responsible for the Cause of Canonization of Blessed Father Eustáquio.

The closing Mass will be held today and will include the participation of everyone involved in the event. The gathering also featured shows with Waldireni, a Ray Conniff tribute, and an Elvis cover band (with Renato Carlini), as well as themed dances every night with the Clip Band.
