The Sanctuary of Health and Peace, the Church of Blessed Father Eustáquio, in Belo Horizonte, launched a major church renovation campaign this past weekend. The idea is for each person to take on a payment plan with a specific amount to help with a general renovation of the temple, which hasn't been done since long before the pandemic.
The donation booklets began being distributed after Mass this weekend by volunteers at the church door. Each booklet contains 10 slips so that donations can be made over the next ten months. There are booklets for R$10, R$25, R$50, and R$100 monthly payments. Payments can be made at the parish office in cash or via Pix using the QR code printed on the booklet. Each QR code will automatically direct you to the amount specified on the booklet.
If someone wants to donate a single amount or a different amount, they can use the CARD with the QR Code without a specific value, at the counters, in the Parish Office, or even through posts on the internet.
The first phase of the works will include the revitalization of the square and the roof. Monthly updates will be provided on the progress of the work, the total budgeted amount, the actual cost, and the amount collected. Those who do not yet have their payment booklet can pick one or more up at the Parish Office. They will also be distributed after weekend masses in April, until the 30th.
