A celebration for the sick will be held at the Sanctuary of Health and Peace, Church of Blessed Father Eustace, this Saturday, April 1st. Mass will be at 3 pm and, during the celebration, the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be administered.
The Roman Missal provides for special Masses in various circumstances, one of which is the celebration with those who are ill. The Eucharist takes place for the recovery of health of those who are suffering from some kind of illness.
People who are ill in hospitals or at home, and who are unable to go to the Sanctuary, can follow the Mass on the Padre Eustáquio YouTube Channel and receive the Sacrament later, by scheduling an appointment with the priest of the parish where the sick person is located.
This is yet another way to bring the Word of God, the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the message of Health and Peace to the devotees of Blessed Father Eustace.
